KSDS/CMEA Jazz Festival for Middle & High Schools
San Diego City College, 1313 Park Blvd., San Diego, CA
CMEA-SBS and KSDS Jazz 88.3 is pleased to announce the return of the KSDS/CMEA Jazz Festival. This year the festival will again be at City College and is scheduled for March 1, 2014. This festival offers three performance venues, on-stage clinics immediately following each performance, a free noon-time Big Band concert and master class featuring the Jazz 88 All-Stars, and a free raffle with great prices for all participants. The KSDS/CMEA Jazz Festival is open to all jazz ensembles and combos of any level, size and instrumentation. This festival offers an opportunity to perform and receive feedback from professional musicians/educators in a non-competitive setting. The festival is scheduled early enough in the year so you can apply those comments and suggestions to future performances if you wish.
